You guys are probably gonna disagree with me on this, but I think the whole situation was screwed up. Look, I love Eminem, more than most rap fans do, but he made a mistake with this artist. In a way, it wasn't his fault due to his depression and drug problems and such, but it still was in the long run. And Stat Quo may not be amazing, but he had a very creative way of spitting, and he was better than a lot of artists out now. I mean, he had to wait like 8 years to release the album, and couldn't even do it until a bit after he left the label! By then, he recorded thousands of songs. And one of the reasons this crap happened was a joke he shared that Em didn't like. He apoligized, but the label held a grudge. What also sucks is that Dr. Dre had promised to be in one of his videos, but then wouldn't do it. I just genuinely feel sorry for the guy, and wish the tables didn't turn the way they did. A lot of crap like this that happened to him was revealed on the 2-part "Dear Summer" song, it's very emotional and makes you look a little differently at the label. That said, I still do love Dre and Eminem and all of them, but if you research this crap, you can't deny they crushed this guy's career, and were just being jerks in this situation. But everyone is a jerk at some point, and I'm glad Em didn't do this to 50 or someone like that. I hope Stat gets another chance to make it big, with Shady Records or not.
