how you guys stay at kendrick lamar? for me he's the new hope of the rap game besides this whole bunch of wack swag fags (oh what a rhmye scheme  ) like 2chainz, nicki minaj, soulja boy... he gives rap a fresh breathe hip hop needs guys like him.. i really love his way to tell you a story in his songs with a hidden message.. god kid maad city was a fucking masterpiece (in 10 years this shit gonna be a classic record) the whole cd is just like a book with chapter's i really love it... i'm excited about his new album and which way he choose to go so for some people he's overrated as fuck what are your opinions? tell it www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjSfelCds6g |

1. He's the new hope of the mainstream world.. Hip Hop overall has never been wack.
2. GKMC is going to be considered a classic for sure.
3. He's definitely my favourite mainstream rapper at the moment.

He is a good lyricist, but he said something in an interview which turned me off personally.
I agree with others who say he has a big ego. You can't let the fame get to you like that.
No one is a God, there's always room for improvement. He's not the best, he needs to know that.

I still remember the day I listened to "HiiiPower" and I rarely check artists I don't know, but something told me to click on that song and listen to it! and damn what was I missing!
Section.80 and GKMC both are awesome!

After I heard that he was sign with dr dre
I check this section 80, and it was dope!
He got concept, story line, unique voice
So i was happy to hear Good kid m.A.A.d city
It was that album hip hop needed!
Dope flow, unique beats, great voice

He's dope! He's definitely one of the best in the game right now and is probably the best young rapper out there. I think guys like him, Krit, and J.Cole are going to spur a revival of 90's era type hip hop. At least I hope so.

He's one of the best "Mainstream" Rappers and GKMC is a good album I'd give you that but what the fuck do you mean when you say he's our rap savior? Hip Hop has never been dead The Underground still went hard as fuck in the 2000's . He ain't no Rap Savior , the only reason most people think he's great or a fucking rap savior ( He's dope but not a legend yet) is because he does conscious Rap and that's the same reason why Joey Badass is considered dope whereas dude's like K.R.I.T , Action Bronson , Danny Brown , Apathy , Vinnie Paz , Brother Lynch Hung , Mayday etc get left out of that conversation because they don't do conscious rap. All those guys I named are more technical and Skilled then a Kendrick Lamar or a Joey Badass . Bottom line is that K Dot is dope but he isn't as great as people like you make him out to be and GKMC is a good album but you can't consider it a classic when it wasn't even the best rap album of the year . Killer Mike's R.A.P Music >> GKMC . If Mike's album was dropped under Aftermath or a big label people won't dickride GKMC so much .
